Restaurant in Paris preparing very simple Khmer dishes, salads, and great classics.

A stone's throw from the Canal Saint-Martin, this restaurant is first and foremost a family affair, where you can savour succulent, simple Khmer dishes. Here are just a few examples: a curious Somlam Tchou (sour soup with tamarind, pineapple, chicken and basil), a delicious Lok Lak (small cubes of melting beef marinated in lemon juice, salt and pepper) or an excellent Ban Hoy (an Angkorian picnic consisting of a plate of salad, mint and soya on one side, joined by another plate garnished with rice vermicelli, sautéed beef, egg rolls and shrimps).

I really advise you, if… you want a bo bun to "western" Aseptisé… : no taste, "French" cooked meat, groundless peanuts, sparkling sauce. (No comparison with Asian buns). plus 11 euros… The waitress told me that the dishes were suitable for the West… I should have wondered: No Asian present in the kitchens in the staff (one still) and put the clients… If you want to discover or make the Asian flavors discover your way… Really! Originality is noted as exceptional… otherwise the products are fresh.
