A brasserie near the station offers a traditional menu
A beautiful, recently refurbished establishment, this café de l'Est. Close to the station, it welcomes travellers - and others - all day long. The traditional menu features three sauerkraut dishes: Lorraine, seafood, and champagne! For the rest, it's more classic: onion soup and foie gras terrine (both homemade), Caesar salad, rib steak or Aubrac beef cheeseburger, pan-fried sea bass fillet, salmon penne. For dessert, Roquefort or PDO cheeses, followed by homemade crème brûlée or café gourmand.
