Address known for its fusion cuisine, its sweet nectars, and its gourmet dishes with local products.
Located in the pretty neighbourhood of the Saint-Martin canal and within walking distance from its romantic footbridge of Recollets, Le Verre volé has built a good reputation thanks to its fusion cuisine and its soft wines. Here, natural wines are honoured and are even used as decoration. The owner, Cyril Bordarier, serves very gourmet dishes prepared with local products. We like the starter served with a drink of the house. You will quickly finish the tuna tataki, perfectly cooked and the crunchy vegetables are really delicious. As for the dessert, you have figs roasted with rosemary, textures are excellent here and the pecan totally convinced us. As for the delicatessen side, you easily fall for one of the many sandwiches of the day: cod crumbs and candied fennel, sausage with olive cream, or chistorra and manchego potato. Its only downside is the service that is almost pathetic.
