Located on the corner of two streets, this bistro has won several awards. Today, it's in the hands of a dynamic team. The recipe remains unchanged and has been the success of the house for ages: low-priced dishes, quality products and, of course, good wines. On the plate, the mimosa egg is a must, as are charcuterie from Mur-de-Barrez, meat from the family farm, the famous truffade, and sausage-aligot. There's no fuss here: you're here to enjoy a hearty, excellent meal, full of flavour.

We had to move tables to accommodate a group, not uncommon in Paris but it would be better to be seated and settle. Asked about 2 dishes and was unceremoniously handed the English menu by staff. We googled our queries. A busy time perhaps but a few seconds would have sorted our order.
Will return at a quieter time.
