ALBION
Bistro in Paris offering classic cuisine revisited from A to Z and desserts.
This dining cellar managed by Matthew Ong, an Englishman, and Hayden Clou, a New Zealander, is a sincere address! The bistro is a place where gourmets and wine enthusiasts feel good, and it's very successful given the popularity of the place. In this convivial and sober décor, with views of the kitchens, the classics are revisited from A to Z. The mozzarella di bufala, Basque black pudding, broccoli, coloured radish; Grenoble-style slice of ray, leeks cooked in the oven with sabayon, pistachio pineapple crumble, basil ice-cream or crème brûlée with dulce de leche, revisited gingerbread for dessert. The bill is a bit high but the meal is well worth it.
