HÔTEL SACHA * * *
Hotel in the 9th district with rooms decorated like a small theatre with stage curtains.
The decor is by Julie Gauthron, who designed each room "like a little theater"... Not surprising, given that we're in the heart of the 9th arrondissement, home to a number of theaters with both stage and auditorium sides. In some rooms, the heavy stage curtains naturally become curtains hiding a closet or framing, as a headboard, a wallpaper on which spectators have a front-row seat... White tiles and the color of the room (yellow, blue or red) for the bathrooms. The common corridors are decorated with theater posters and prints. The lobby resembles a Parisian apartment from the interwar period, and everything has been found at flea markets. The same goes for the breakfast room, with its bohemian café feel, buffet and old-fashioned theater chairs. Next door, a glass roof opens onto a small patio, laid out like a winter garden.
