LE POINT EPHEMERE
The team that manages this place since 2004 comes from the collective, who, under the name of d'Usines Ephémères, has specialised for over twenty years in the animation of temporarily abandoned sites. One comes in contact with several artistic disciplines within the residences of artists - artists, musicians, dancers, designers - who happen to exhibit their work here. Visual arts exhibitions take place as well as performances in a room that can accommodate up to three hundred people. The concerts have a rock tone, hip-hop, electro, world music tone. DJs also come so as to set a great atmosphere. The Art Deco building made of bricks and concrete is a former building materials store built in 1922 on the banks of the Saint-Martin Canal. In addition to the concert hall and exhibition room, it has a bar-restaurant and workplaces - rehearsal studios and workshops.
