CINÉMA LOUXOR
Barbès used to welcome the reopening of Louxor with great happiness. This mythical hall has enjoyed several generations of Parisians, and remains an atypical place. Inaugurated in 1920, this film has undergone several changes of owners and was even turned into a nightclub in 1983 until its closure in 1988. Restored then reopened to the public in 2013, he kept his facade in Egyptian colors but mainly returned to his first vocation, the Seventh Art. Three theaters feature art and test films, as well as recent films. Special attention is paid to southern cinema and the cinema for children. Located on the 3 rd floor, the Luxor bar offers light meals with fine products and artisan wines. The view of Montmartre and the district of Barbès should delight the most skeptical.
