The theatre, built in 1876, has 530 seats divided into a parterre, a row of boxes, and a gallery. It specialised in historical frescoes and melodramas before being closed in 1952. Peter Brook and Micheline Rozan moved here in 1974, leaving the theatre with its bare appearance. In addition to Brook's always surprising shows, jazz and chanson have also found their place here: a vast and beautiful programme.
