Comptoir G, as the regulars call it, has over the years become a veritable institution on the Paris nightlife scene. Tucked away in a small courtyard along the Canal Saint-Martin, we enter a completely redesigned space, ten years after its opening. The mezzanine takes on a Berber feel, with cushions on the floor, and the rest of the bar offers an ambiance directly inspired by 1980s California. The main bar, a veritable plunge into the African continent, with its hairdresser's chairs, hastily furnished lounges and lush jungle.

C'est un bar avec une déco originale et sympa et les prix ne sont pas exagérés pour ce quartier de Paris.
Mais c'est un endroit à la mode et il est quasi impossible d'avoir une place assise. Surtout avec le peu de chaises qu'on y trouve !

Endroit trés atypique qui nous fait pénétrer dans un autre monde en plein coeur de paris! Ideal pour deguster un Ti punch, gouter à une spécialité tropicale ou tout simplement pour bouquiner dans le petit jardin interieur ... le comptoir général surprendra tout le monde ! Attention il peut y avoir la queue pour rentrer
