Equivox is one of the 2 LGBTQIA+ choirs in Paris, with some 80 choristers directed by choir director Mariette Girard. Rehearsals take place every Monday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 pm (except during school vacations) and three weekends a year. You can attend 3 rehearsals before making a commitment. Equivox takes part in concerts and street festivals in Paris and the surrounding region. The repertoire is eclectic (variety, operetta, classical) and an annual theme is defined each year, guiding the choice of songs, costumes and choreography.
