LE PÊCHEUR DE FRANCE
This monthly magazine, the origin of which dates back to 1978, was a magazine in newsprint of 24 pages and two colours (black and green) which had the subtitle of its vocation as "monthly for the promotion of fishing and the safeguarding of rivers and ponds" and intended to federate the fishermen through their associations and federations. Since then, the magazine has been modernised. Every month there are good plans, fishing narratives, record fish photos, a travel section, the schedule of competitions, but also a sea section, articles on fish ethology, the fishing industry, the environment, rivers, not forgetting the tests and news of the material. And every fisherman in France who calls himself one, the magazine has opened its columns since 2000 to English and Dutch columnists, inviting new techniques including the famous vertical fishing.
