Church built on the ruins of a abbey in Paris.

Saint-Laurent church is located at a large, busy crossroads in the capital. It stands on the ruins of a ^4th-century abbey, and as you look at the architecture of the building, you immediately realise that it was born of a mixture of different influences. Much of the building is in the Flamboyant Gothic style (^15th century), but there are also elements dating from the ^16th to ^19th centuries. This church, which counted Saint Vincent-de-Paul among its parishioners, is well worth a visit.
