Church built on the ruins of a abbey in Paris.
Saint-Laurent church is located at a large, busy crossroads in the capital. It stands on the ruins of a 4th-century abbey, and as you look at the architecture of the building, you immediately realise that it was born of a mixture of different influences. Much of the building is in the Flamboyant Gothic style (15th century), but there are also elements dating from the 16th to 19th centuries. This church, which counted Saint Vincent-de-Paul among its parishioners, is well worth a visit.

C'est vrai que pour moi, ce n'est pas l'esthétique. Je trouve que c'est beau, mais pas assez éclairée. Par contre, c'est hyper pratique et très priant. Pratique à cause de la proximité avec la gare de l'est et celle de la gare du nord, la place République etc. Très très priant... Eucharisties, Adoration, chapelet. Génial ! Entre deux trains ou métros, magasins, vous avez la possibilité d'aller vous ressourcer, recharger les batteries du Cœur et repartir avec pleins d'entrain pour la suite de votre journée et parfois de la semaine. Surtout n'hésitez pas !
