MARCHÉ ALIBERT
This market is held along the Saint-Louis Hospital, not far from the Saint-Martin Canal, on the odd side of this pretty little street. Here, the atmosphere is friendly, the prices reasonable, however, not a butcher or pork butcher, but a roaster whose art of cooking is no longer to be demonstrated. The fruit and vegetable stalls are well made, we hardly dare to touch them! The fish shop has a nice display and the products come directly from Rungis or Cherbourg. You can also buy organic breads and pastries, as well as Italian products, mainly from Piedmont, selected from producers and imported directly to Paris.
