For three generations, Dissidi has been manufacturing stylish furniture, the company mainly makes copies of 18th century furniture. The label Entreprise du patrimoine vivant praises its unparalleled expertise.
History. Since its foundation in the early 1900s, the Dissidi workshop has been located in Paris, in a small discreet passage with a charming name, the "Passage de la Bonne Graine", in the heart of the Saint-Antoine suburb, the furniture district.
Concerned about respecting history, the Dissidi workshop uses the techniques of the Master Cabinetmakers of yesteryear, those who made it radiate the perfection of French furniture. He uses his trade secrets in the work of the most precious woods, in the transparency of varnishes, in the engraving of bronzes gilded with fine gold, in the soft relief of the most delicate sculptures, but also in the finishes that make a "beautiful work" a unique piece.
The products. Dissidi specializes in copying antique furniture, panelling and chairs, but also in contemporary creations. The workshop is able to design solid wood panelling as well as inlaid furniture by the great masters of 18th century cabinet-making.
