The umpteenth Chinese restaurant in Paris offering Chinese dishes, meats, grills and seafood.
Nanchang is the capital of the province of Jiangxi where Tian and Liang are from, they are the two owners of this umpteenth Parisian Chinese restaurant. They put in their bags dishes from their region and that moves. Here, no menu or card. Under the portraits of Mao Zedong, Bugs Bunny, Zhou Enlai, Popeye (tell us why you have choosen these and what is the relation between them?), you must take note on loose bilingual leaves what you want to eat and that in the minute that follows. There are incredible tricks but we jump into the venture with: soup with black egg and meat pies as starter, totally edible. These dishes are softer, anyway! It is a way of speaking because they tear off with their pepper, the fried lobster. However, we exclude skewers of beef penis or pork stomach... There are also wood fire grills, doughnuts, fries, soups heated in large jars, etc. The cuvée Delanoë is served in the army gourds, beer in the mugs with red star and the waitresses are military dressed. It's a little revolutionary, at least in the cuisine that changes eternal ice dishes of Chinese caterers. Popular without any doubt with the tableware made of bits and pieces and a bit spartan comfort. But when you see that 70% of the customers are Chinese, you think that it is really the good address. When leaving, do not forget to stick to the ceiling a post-it with a wish, it seems that it is the tradition.
