Dau Me Tender - a little wink to Elvis who looms on the walls - it's a small Asian street shop where music comes straight from vinyl to a platinum. The specialty is the dau mi, a Vietnamese sandwich that becomes a sacred competitor for butter ham given its price and topping: pickled grated carrots, fresh coriander, pork or Angus beef with citronella and sauce complete all.
