Bistro near the rue de la Roquette offering a house specialty: beef, a cheese and charcuterie plate.
This bistro close to Rue de la Roquette has changed its name many times for a few years: Le Petit Cheval de Manège, Coyotte, Le Singe à Tête de Chien... This time, due to the animal tradition, it is La Robe de la Girafe. A real restaurant and wine bar in its own juice. Vintage decoration, tiling made in traditional way, wooden tables and chairs that are simple... The menu does not care about nice titles and the choice is limited, proof of the freshness of the products. The chef prepares dishes around beef, the specialty of the house. They are available in skewers of rump steak, fried and Chimichurri sauce, tartar, burgers. Meat lovers will be thrilled because the meadows Red steak of 300 grams is hearty and tender as you like it. We really liked, as a starter, the pressed foie gras with ginger bread... At the bar, olivier advises on the wines, and at any time, you can make a plate of cold meat or cheese with a glass of red or white wine particularly well selected, and always very accessible. The welcome is warm, effective service and quality is really there for more than reasonable prices.
