Bistro in Paris offering a tasting menu of 5 appetizers, original cuisine and well thought out dishes.

Finding a table in this very traditional looking bistro is not easy since reservations are made 1 month in advance, reservations for the first service are made only 14 days in advance and the second service from 9:30pm. Yes, but once you're settled in, you don't regret your surprise tasting menu at €75, created by the brilliant Inaki Aizpitarte, chef and owner of the place. This self-taught man is in perpetual creation and his totally unbridled imagination treats every day the blessed who have managed to slip into his "castle". Under his nonchalant looks, this genius of the kitchen makes his room vibrate every evening with well thought-out dishes, full of mischief, relayed by a very sexy mixed team although a little bit fast, who praises like no one else the master's cuisine. The tasting menu service consists of 5 appetizers, 1 starter, 1 fish dish, 1 meat dish and 2 desserts. Inaki's cuisine is so original that words and descriptions of the dishes are not enough. You have to live this experience at least once in your life. We complete with some crus of rather daring natural wines.

C'est assez rare pour être souligné. La cuisine est bonne et le service séduisant et efficace. Paris a besoin de ce type d'établissements plus que de restauration à hamburgers et pizzas.

Je suis un voisin et un habitué du Chateaubriand. Je n'avais, jusqu'à la rencontre d'inaki et de son équipe, pas de culture culinaire. Cela a été un vrai choc des sens et à chaque visite nous sommes surpris par les nouvelles trouvailles du chef. De l'originalité mais aussi de l'authenticité. Les viandes et les poissons sont cuits à la perfection. La richesse de la cave permet également de se laisser guider dans le
choix des vins formidables. Nous nous sommes bien "forcés" à tester d'autres restaurants mais n'avons jamais trouvé mieux.....UNE EXPÉRIENCE à ne pas manquer!

They charged me €100 EUR on my creditcard after they did not communicated with their own booking platform provider The Fork to change my reservation date. Afterwards they simply ignored my emails that hold proof of them saying to change my booking is no problem at all.

I had a wonderfull evening at their restaurant and the food was beyond amazing, however the way they deal with this kind of problem is below every standard for good restaurants. Poor management/service.

Wasn’t for me. I respect what the chef and team have tried to deliver. That being said, some of the plates are too complicated and confusing in taste. Glad I came, won’t need to return
