LE P'TIT BRÉGUET
Neighborhood bistro offering meat and Auvergne specialties, fish on Friday.
The front of this Bistro-Brasserie is like the one of a neighbourhood bistro, with an red and white interior, where are mingling some marks of modern and old. A bovine is displayed on the cover of the menu, showing that here we undoubtly eat meat and what kind! that of Salers... The tartare is excellent and well served. Other specialties: everything is from Auvergne a super aligot- sausage, not light but so good. The daily specials vary according to the market. For example: a beef bourguignon and mashed sweet potatoes or a pork tenderloin with beer sauce and carrots with cumin. Friday it is always fish. Everything is fresh, well - prepared and the quantity is there. The desserts are less convincing... and then we forget them. The room is not very big and often full, so a bit noisy. The terrace is heated and quieter.
