Bistro with a terrace in the heart of the Bastille district serving original daily dishes.
A lively bistro in the Bastille district, filled both in summer and winter - it is noisy but it is lively. The terrace is always crowded, even in winter. Le Café des Anges is one of those places in the 11th district where all generations mix; even families with strollers and babies are welcomed. The service is young and dynamic. The decoration is very Parisian bistro, with checkered tablecloths, moleskin or wooden seats, walls cluttered with photos and posters, and a beautiful display window where miscellaneous objects are displayed. The chef, Sylvain Salles, has worked in beautiful kitchens and he offers original suggestions every day: salmon steak in almond crumble and Parmesan, purée with thyme and mustard seeds, cabbage stuffed with smoked bacon and baked with Cantal, whole trout with oyster mushrooms, potato gratin and blue sauce... And Café des Anges can be delivered at home by Deliveroo...
