Bistro in Paris with an imaginative menu, Galician-style grilled octopus and desserts
A real neighbourhood bistro opened by Laurent and Fred of the Vache Acrobate. A place in cheeky humour which offers lunch menus at tight prices. So it goes without saying, this is not haute cuisine, but you would be wrong to go your way because the cuisine is very interresting. The menu changes every day and the imagination of the chef is proceeding well. We particularly remember the whole marinated monza, herb pesto, brioche and dried tomatoes that recalled our holiday. Then an octopus grilled in the Galician way, chips of chorizo and basil. Again, an air of holidays! For desserts, a rum baba with candied fruit and with chantilly delights us. The decoration is all mistmatched, you might even say that everything has remained unchanged for ages.
