Parisian bistro with terrace serving meat dishes, vegetables and fish, desserts.

The authenticity in all its splendor with these frescoes on the walls, these woodworks and moldings on the ceiling. In short, a breathtaking 1900 decor that is unanimous with a very Bastille clientele who comes here to drink a coffee, read newspapers, bask in the sun on the terrace, and enjoy an unpretentious cuisine. Among the dishes we love, the Auvergne pork ribs roasted with Provence herbs, the slightly spiced fondant beef chuck, the pennes with southern vegetables and parmesan chips or the gourmet caramel rice pudding. As for the orange pie and almond cream, it is sufficient to get us back to Le Bistrot du Peintre.

Rentabilité avant tout. Vous êtes collés serrés avec vos voisins d'à coté. Même pas assez d'espace pour sortir de la banquette. Si vous voulez aller aux toilettes, il faut carrément déplacer la table pour s'extirper. Vraiment abberant. Le minimum est de permettre à des clients de circuler librement dans l'établissement et de ne pas être coincés parce que les tables sont trop collées.

We loved the decor and atmosphere in this bistro, and the waiter was friendly and attentive. He suggested some options on the menu that might suit us. We love to have either the morning coffee or to lunch during the day. Really lovely spot and the front tables are protected from the wind and rain.

Serveur de mauvaise foi. Je commande un pot de vin rouge à 16,20€, le vin arrive sans étiquette sur le pot. Au moment de l'addition le pot est a 24.30€. une incompréhension avance t'il... Le responsable nous a remboursé de la différence

Une cuisine savoureuse, des plats très originaux. Un personnel très sympathique et un magnifique décor Art Nouveau. Nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes et nous nous promis de retourner au Bistrot du peintre prochainement.

Le serveur m a déposé mon café à la table derrière, j ai attendu longtemps quand mon amie est partie le voir, sans excuse ni rien tout simplement le café est sur la table derrière vous, voilà mon expérience dans ce bistrot
