JEANNE A
Grocery store in Paris preparing a weekend brunch, a cheese platter, poultry, oysters and meats.
Astier is the mother house which has given birth to Jeanne A and Jeanne B, rue Lepic in the 18th. A beautiful family that is both a grocery store, a cellar and in the middle of the solids and liquids, a table d 'hôte to feast on. Everyone meet up there. There are those who want to snack, those who come for a brunch on the weekend, those who want to get a bottle for tonight's dinner, those who want a cheese platter or simply you and me with a basket to fill our kitchen cupboard with specialties from the four corners of the Hexagone. On the spot, we eat here and there: poultry pie, oysters from Isiny, a leg of suckling lamb from the Pyrenees rubbed with mustard seeds and thyme, a "Croqu'homard" flanked by a parmesan cream and many other delights. The strong point of address: The rotisserie! Jeanne A has made it its specialty, she serves on the spot soft meats, exquisitely roasted.
