Pépé Merle's guest rooms are charming and intimate. The house has just 4 rooms, each inspired by a neighbourhood: Ménilmontant, Oberkampf, Grand Palais or Saint-Michel. The decor is elegant and original. It feels like a family home, and the personality of the host, Claire, has a lot to do with it. She offers a warm welcome and is happy to help you discover her world and her city. The breakfast is well worth the detour. And all for a reasonable price, given the quality and location.

Claire est très discrète mais néanmoins formidablement dévouée à sa clientèle qui aime se retrouver autour d’un petit déjeuner convivial. Déco alliant avec sobriété le style art déco et le moderne.
Quartier très sympathique de Paris 11.
Our room was big and very beautiful decorated with private bathroom. Bed was big and very comfortable.
Our host was very kind and supportive. I needed to call some times for instructions and she was really helpful. She also provided us very good tips for the neighborhood, restaurants, city transport and places to visit.
But what i appreciated most was the breakfast. For 6 days any time different meals included some kind delicious breads and homemade french recipes. Pie with pears and apple cake were amazing. Also the pork meal and pate - i forgot french name of that meals but they was top ????
And something very important - we got access to purified water and coffee for the whole day. Coffee was much better than typical hotel coffee, which was very important for coffee addicted person like me :)
I highly recommend the hotel and I definitely will be there again next time when we visit Paris.
