Hotel marked by a decoration with heterogeneous compositions and vintage colors making each room different.
Hi Matic left the Place at the Exquisite Hotel, which integrated the Elegancia network. Julie Gauthron provided the decoration, accompanied in his work by a collective of 8 artists members of the association. They took the party to draw inspiration from a literary game invented by surrealist, the exquisite body. The principle is to create a poem or a group design. Each participant writes a sentence or creates a drawing that he hides to the next person by pulling the paper, so each entrant cannot take inspiration from what was done before. Once the game is over, a story or an unusual image of disparate elements arises. The result results in collages and very mixed compositions; each room is different from the other! Vintage furniture serves as a base but its first use can be diverted like this sewing machine becoming an office… The industrial side is supplied by lamps and electric porcelain switches placed at the end of copper pipes. Colours are also vintage: red, orange, green green, etc. An amazing hotel!
