LE BASTIDE
In Rue de Lappe, where there are many bars without soul, Le Bastide is resisting. According to the regulars (most of the clientele), nothing has changed for 30 years, since the institution has never given in to the temptation to turn this little local into a cocktail factory like many of its neighbours in the district. The bartenders are known to be friendly and effective, even if there are many people, which is the case every weekend. Starting on Friday, don't expect to sit down on the few tables there; here, you lean your elbows on the counter, in the old-fashioned way. Another advantage of this address not like any others, music: only vinyl disc of the 1960s and 1970s are played. Add to this the lowest prices in the neighborhood, and here may be the ideal address for your evenings.
