République is the meeting point for many Parisians, since it is quite "central". The difficult thing is to find a bar large enough to receive bands of friends in a neighborhood often crowded. Le Toucan, with its great capacity, works extremely well! The happy hour is very generous for a bar in the capital and you eat quite well there (croque-monsieur, pasta and salads are offered on the menu). A good address for reunions between friends.

Un lieu convivial, un troquet de quartier élégant mais sans chichis où on se sent comme à la maison. Agréable terrasse, bon café, bonne cuisine. On y vient, on y revient et on y reviendra ????
