THE RICHARD-LENOIR PROMENADE
A stroll along the entire Boulevard Richard-Lenoir and the short Boulevard Jules-Ferry in Paris
Covering the underground section of the Canal Saint-Martin between Place de la Bastille and Rue du Faubourg-du-Temple, this promenade follows the entire length of Boulevards Richard-Lenoir and Jules-Ferry. It comprises a series of four gardens (Richard-Lenoir, Bréguet-Sabin, Bataclan and Jules-Ferry) designed by landscape architect Jacqueline Osty and architect David Mangin (1994). These narrow strips of greenery are interspersed with boules pitches and children's play areas.
