An Association of International solidarity recognized in public Utility, Planète Urgence proposes the Solidarity Leave allowing for a short-term mission (2 to 4 weeks) during its holidays. The goal is to share personal or professional skills in favour of associations, cooperatives, schools, micro entrepreneurs in fifteen countries. Prepared prior to their departure and hosted on-site by representatives of Planète Urgence, from 600 to 800 people leave each year on mission, more than half with the support of their employer. Planète Urgence offers development assistance missions, organizes three-day preparation sessions and coordinates projects with field partners in 17 countries around the world.
