Starred restaurant in Paris serving a daily menu, oysters, fish and duck
Alain Dutournier, chef of the Carré des Feuillants, began his Parisian career here. Moreover, this restaurant still belongs to him. Today, it is Laurent Bouveret who officiates in the kitchen. To get a glimpse of his talent, opt for the menu carte. Among other dishes offered on an autumn day, a chestnut velouté with autumn truffles and pheasant chicken aiguillettes, a "traditional" cassoulet, a monkfish escalope with spinach threads, and for dessert a fine Landes croustade with prune ice cream. A proud cuisine "that sings of the south Adour".

Par contre le service laisse à désirer : un serveur, en costume noir étriqué, qui souffle en servant, pas un sourire, et qui s’immisce dans la conversation du client et donne sont avis sur les évènements politiques. Surprenant.
