In short, the izakaya is to Japan what the bistro is to France, or the pub to England. In other words, an establishment where you come for a drink, accompanied by hot or cold dishes. In opening this Jinchan Shokudo, Miyo and Alban set out to recreate the convivial atmosphere of an izakaya and offer high-quality Japanese popular cuisine. And they've succeeded! The setting is colorful and the dishes - from the daikon (white radish) salad to the kaisen don chosen for this summer evening - are convincing. A table we'd definitely recommend.
