Restaurant with a chic bistro decor, offering Sicilian cuisine reminiscent of the chef's childhood.
A whole family works in this restaurant called: Les Amis de Messina. Ignazio Messina is in the kitchen; his sister Rosangela and his cousin Salvatore are in room. The address enjoys a bistro and chic decor with stone walls and wooden tables, and where guests can also ogle on the slightly cuisine open onto the room. On the first floor, a small room can accommodate 8 people in total privacy. Ignazio bathed during his childhood in the Sicilian cuisine at the restaurant of his parents at Cefalu and can perfectly portray it by adding his personal touch, more modern. We recommend to lovers stuffed sardines with dry raisins, pine nuts, mint, and zes tof orange, laurel, garlic and cheese. It is sublime! The pebbles stuffed veal with bacon, cheese, mint, garlic and laurel are delightful. All pasta is completed in the original way and cooked al dente. We were waiting the chef with the desserts. He was not coming of it so badly, among others, its biscuits with cinnamon, stuffed with sweet ricotta.

En conclusion seul bémol: les accompagnements qui manquent sévèrement d'originalité pour sublimer les plats (1 brocolis, des patates avec 3 feuilles de salade mouais peut mieux faire tout de même...hein) et des portions légères.
