Lebanese restaurant in Paris offering mezze dishes, 3 grilled meats (lamb, chicken and beef).
This time we take you to meet a Lebanese restaurant of the 12th arrondissement. Since its arrival in the late summer of 2017, Beyit Jedo ("Chez Papi") has made a beautiful reputation. It must be said that the setting - both typical and modern - has everything to please, just like the staff. You are welcomed with a smile and invited to sit at one of the tables in the beautiful dining room. Here, everything is tastefully prepared, from colorful chairs to blue wall through the dishes. The often filled room is small so, don't hesitate to order your take-away meal. We had the chance to eat in this warm setting and started the meal with flaidura, a mixture of peppers and tomatoes that works very well with Lebanese bread, and then we chose one of the mezze plates. The "Lebanese" plate consisted of hommos, moutabal (eggplant caviar), taboulé, warak inab (vine leaf), samboussek (turnover with meat and cheese), kébbé, falafel and three grilled meats (lamb, chicken and beef). A very gourmet discovery that deserves a detour. And if you want to bring home a small piece of Lebanon, you can buy bottles of local wine on site.
