For our family’s first trip to Paris, I wanted to eat French food beyond the tourist staples of steak and frites. This restaurant was mentioned on various food blogs and it did not disappoint. The lone waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the wines to pair with our mains and fluent in English. Hearty meat and fish mains with no frites in sight; well, there were “frites” made from chickpea flour which are then carb-free (since chickpeas are legumes and a meat free protein source) which were crunchy and delicious paired with the monkfish. My daughter let me have one of them????The four of us shared 2 orders of the wild snails sautéed in butter and parsley with raw greens in a light vinaigrette- the chef was thoughtful to divide them into 4 plates for us. We also shared an appetizer of tripe in a buttery sauce with olives and bread. My son and husband shared the steak and mashed potatoes (meant for two), which I had to agree, was the best I have ever had! I enjoyed my order of seasoned lamb on a bed of wild rice and gravy. Barely had room for dessert and we shared 2 orders of the lemon crème brûlée- we enjoyed the tartness after such a filling meal! The restaurant was not too loud even though almost full with everyone talking and laughing. Don’t expect fancy presentations or garnishes here. Great value compared to other places we have been to!

ワインのセレクションも良いし、サービスもとても心地よい。
パリに行ったらまたぜひ行きたい!

Tout est parfait cuisine service et ambiance. Simplement les ventilateurs plafond brassent et rafraîchissent l'atmosphère c'est inconfortable. Nous reviendrons .

Un accueil chaleureux par un amoureux du goût il parle et explique à la perfection du vin et des mets.
Une assiette bien cuisinée on s est régalé je recommande on reviendra superbe découverte.

The high nose attitude made us dislike this place! We got a confirmation for 13:30 and arrived 10 minutes late and he told that they are full in a very rude way! Then we asked for another reservation for next day but he told me to write afterwards. Once I wrote, he again said that they are fully occupied. They try to create an image of a high attention place so they tell ppl this lie. This kind of places never deserve high level of attention and recognition from the customers no matter how good they cook! In first place, they have to learn to respect the customers and then the other features!

Traditional French recipes that you cannot find easily anymore, perfectly done. Not for vegetarians though.

Un service comme on n'en trouve plus vraiment à Paris, sympathique, réactif, une connaissance précise des plats et du vin. Une véritable expérience ! La cuisine est très bonne, bien faites avec de bons produits.

정말 맛있는 요리!
Ris de veau는 매우 크고 부드럽습니다.
느끼한 걸 잘 못 먹는 사람에겐 조금 과할 수도 있지만 적어도 나에겐 너무 맛있었다.
Lotte 는 아주 잘 요리 되어 있었고 간단해보이지만 담백하고 달았다.
Entrée로 먹은 새콤한 Poireaux는 그 위에 뿌려진 잣으러 풍미를 더합니다.
아늑한 분위기, 쾌적한 실내, 친절한 웨이터, 맛있는 음식까지!
즐거운 주말 점심을 선물 받았다????

No music. All about the food. Great service (one waiter but he gave ample attention to all tables) and great recommendations on wine to go with offerings. Quality ingredients focused paired with simple raw greens to complement flavours. A cosy bistro for French cuisine. Definitely try the veal

Simple decor, no music to not distract from the focus- great food. I had pied du cuchon, fantastic flavors and crackling. Also had pintan, beautifully prepared. Great wines

The one and only one waiter is very lazy and rude. Cooking is getting cliché. The menu is never changed. Desserts are rip-off !

Une adresse tout à fait remarquable. Petite salle sans prétention, à l'image de la cuisine. Ici, rien n'est concédé à l'esbroufe.
La très grande qualité des produits, l'assemblage attentif, intelligent, respectueux de leur nature, le service attentif et volontiers éclairant dans le conseil et les explications, tout est parfait. Et, cela ne gâche rien, le prix est très juste.
En somme, une adresse qui mérite qu'on vienne de loin.

Quelle excellente surprise! Arrivé un peu par hasard un dimanche soir lors d'un voyage d'affaire. Si vous recherchez un service "étoilé", des présentations sophistiquées, de la porcelaine extra fine et un cadre rutilant, passez votre chemin. Si vous êtes intéressés par d'excellents produits, très bien préparés, une carte des vins courte mais diversifiée et de qualité à un prix "contrôlé" (ce qui est rare de nos jours...) et des interactions à la bonne franquette avec le staff pour parler de l'origine de leurs produits, alors l'endroit est pour vous! En bref, lisez attentivement les "avertissements pour éviter les erreurs de casting" postés par le patron sur le site du restaurant et prenez les au pied de la lettre ;-). Ce soir là l'assiette de charcuterie de porc Kintoa était à la fois copieuse et goûtue et le pigeon était proche de la perfection (ah le moelleux des filets et ces abats traités en rillette/boudin...). Le fondant au cacao, très peu sucré et très aérien, développait des arômes rarement ressentis ailleurs. Je n'oublie pas le pain, excellent lui aussi, ce qui devient une rareté au restaurant, indépendamment du nombre d'étoiles et du montant de l'addition. Seul tout petit bémol: le fromage, excellent par ailleurs, servi un peu trop froid. Mais on leur pardonne et on reviendra!

Very meaty, heavy and traditional food.
It could be too much for some people but if you want real meaty food in Paris, go this place.
Btw the server mis calculate our bill and they contact us after the lunch to pay more..

Best cut of veal I've had in a looooong time! Our desserts (the fondant and the citron) were deliciously intriguing and were obviously made with the best ingredients. On top of that, the waiter was extremely friendly and charming and also took the time to explain the dishes. Really welcoming place where the food was outstanding!

Un service inoubliable, une cuisine française avec beaucoup de saveurs, en travaillant avec des très beaux produits.
Le veau était fabuleux et son accompagnement (que je vous laisserai(s) découvrir) tout autant.
Une large sélection également sur la carte des vins.
Le fondant au chocolat, de grand cru, était somptueux et intense.
Juste à la sortie de Bastille, je recommande !

Mes papilles ont adoré l'agnelle du Limousin chez Amarante. Très bon restaurant.
