“Practically perfect in every way.” This is the best bistro in Paris and it’s not close. The service is phenomenal! I don’t speak a word of French and everyone one was so helpful and made great recommendations for someone who was visiting Paris for the first time. The food is amazing but by far the best dish is the coq au vin. Last but not least everything is very affordable. I got an appetizer entree dessert wine and coffee all under 50 Euros! I will return soon hungry for more.

Un très bon restaurant de gastronomie française du terroir. Je recommande la cassolette de biche.

Un endroit inoubliable une tradition française du gibier de qualité et bien servi. Tout le personnel est au petit soin et impliqué on sent l’amour du métier. Les plats sont excellents, on ne peut que revenir. Un lieu à ne manquer

Potatoes in coq au vin were not cooked through. We were told there was a pate and we ordered it, but it turned out to be similar to terrine, which we both disliked.

Cucina tipica francese, con specialità di cacciagione. Porzioni abbondanti. Ottimi i formaggi e buoni anche i dolci. Noi abbiamo preso la carne di cervo! Davvero gustosa e tenera. Il personale è di una gentilezza infinita. Se andate a Parigi è una tappa che non può mancare.

MERAVIGLIOSO.
Ospitalità fantastica da parte di tutto lo staff e grandissimi piatti. Una cena completa, da aperitivo, a dolce (compresi formaggi) che ricorderò per molto tempo. Con grande entusiasmo.

Fabulous! A friendly, personal and high quality restaurant without any pretentious elements. The food is great, authentic french cuisine with large or even oversized portions. The staff are friendly and engaging and appropriately attentive.
We had aperitif, starter, main course, cheese course and dessert all for a very reasonable fixed price (47E). I can't recall a better value meal in Paris.

A cozy and excellent French restaurant????????
They serve a variety of French dishes with an excellent service. They have Hunting meat seasonally????????????.
The main dish and appetizer were excellent.
The dessert was of good quality.
It had a big family environment and a friendly environment.
The treatment and service speed of the personnel was excellent.????????

Nous n'étions pas venu depuis longtemps, pourquoi ? ... mystère de la vie. Les circonstances nous y ont ramenés par d'étranges concours de circonstances. Un peu inquiet, quand les souvenirs sont là, mais rien n'a changé, le même accueil sympathique, le même menu avec gibier, bonne viande, pâtés, rognons (où manger du gibier et des rognons à Paris en dehors de la Biche au bois ?). Les frites sont fraiches (des vrais frites quoi !) et la mousse au chocolat accompagnée de Grand-Marnier (à tomber !). La soirée fût agréable, l'amie qui était avec nous ravie de découvrir l'endroit. Nos souvenirs ont été ravivés. Nous reviendrons, c'est promis.

We were told by a fellow Canadian to go here for dinner while in Paris ! It was one of the best meals we had while on our trip to Paris .
We had the beef and fries and venison stew. Both absolutely amazing !
The staff were extremely friendly and very upbeat ! Really felt like they were actually enjoying their work and the patrons !
The bathroom was the cleanest we have been to while eating out in Paris !

The tables were very close but they make it work ! Didnt take long to be a full house ! Will absolutely return when we trip back to sweet Paris !

Lieux très conviviale,avec une grande variété de plat telle que de l'escargot de la terrine de cerf, du filet de biche et plein d'autre mets gastronomiques français je vous e' recommande en famille entre amis.

Every year we come back and really enjoy the atmosphere in this small Parisian restaurant. A bit noisy, busy but friendly and special. The choice of food corresponds to the name of the restaurant, mainly meat dishes. Excellent selection of cheeses. Excellent desserts, especially schnenokle. We will be back again. Žarko Željko

Patrons chaleureux. Equipe conviviale. Copieux et gourmand ! La cassolette de Biche, les terrines ou le Tournedos Landais sont à ne pas manquer. Le plateau de fromage est dantesque. Et le tout arrosé d'un Castera. Merveilleux !

Not disappointed, fresh and tasty terrines. The special and fillet of beef served for various cooking requested. Good, varied and very copious cheese. pleasant and fresh desserts (fruit tart).
The service is fast and very friendly (a rarity in PARIS!).

La Biche au Bois - Paris 12 - plus de 20 ans et toujours satisfait

A warm welcome, nice owners and staff smiles! A kitchen " fraîche" and a friendly atmosphere. In addition to game and its magnificent purée celery, do not hesitate with foie gras " maison" very tasty.
