Traditional and warm bistro where home-made and fresh products are the order of the day with the chef's cooking.
In a quiet and busy street, this Picotin is the right place for the inhabitants of the district, a few steps from the Place de la Nation and the Picpus metro station. An authentic traditional bistro where you find vichy napkins, old ads on the walls, bright colours and a menu on a chalkboard. And you feel good there, because it reminds you nostalgically of meals at Grandma's. On the menu side, it's short and efficient, the homemade and fresh products are essential. The chef creates a cuisine that looks like him: simple, with a touch of fantasy, and he changes the program every week. For example: vegetable papillote with mushrooms, cheese and spicy tomato sauce (this is for vegetarians!), beef carpaccio or kefta burger... but the place also has its specialities, like prime rib of beef or lamb shoulder for two people: excellent! The desserts are also perfect, and the welcome is excellent. We recommend it!

Professional yet friendly staff.
Nice decoration; kudos to all the attention posted in the WCs (clean, nicely decorated, spacious and with some music!).
Food was just exquisite!
They have a rotating monthly menu made of the best of French ingredients and revisiting some French and also international recipes!
Portions are more than generous, which is exceptional for Paris!!
With one of the beautiful 3 bros in Spain, I expect other exotic dishes to land on their monthly menu… can’t wait to discover those revisited recipes!!
Ideally located in a clam side street closed to Picpus/Belair
