An unsuspected corner of greenery in the heart of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, the Promenade plantée is a great opportunity for a walk! Perched above the traffic and the hubbub of the city, it would almost give you the impression of being in the countryside! Its 4.5 kilometres were built on the rails of a former railway line, which stopped traffic in 1969. From the Opéra Bastille, it takes you to the Porte dorée and the Bois de Vincennes, via the jardin de Reuilly, the viaduc des Arts and the allée Vivaldi. All you have to do is choose your option: Sunday walk or daily jogging?

J aime beaucoup c'est fréquenté attention avec les coureurs pressés et les croisements. Endroit sympa avec les enfants sans voiture c est appréciable et rare en pleine ville. Pour aprendre le vélo c est sympa pour les petits

Je confirme que ce lieu de promenade est idéal si on se situe du côté de Bastille et qu'on veut traverser le 12e arr. ou rejoindre le bois de Vincennes; on se croirait par endroit à la campagne tellement c'est calme et verdoyant ! ☺
C'est parfait aussi pour faire un jogging ou du vélo !
