One of Europe's finest examples of intelligent, educational presentation of wildlife from every continent, to be visited in Paris.
Set off on a unique journey to meet over two thousand animals on an immersive tour: the Parc Zoologique de Paris of the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, created in 1934, extends over 15 hectares in the Bois de Vincennes. The Parc Zoologique has been designed to raise awareness of the threats to biodiversity, with five biozones: Patagonia, Africa, Europe, Guyana-Amazonia and Madagascar. Animal species, at the heart of the park, are presented in spaces that evoke their original ecosystems, respecting their well-being and allowing true immersion within each of the five biozones. Mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates: almost 200 species and over 1,200 animals offer a world tour of animal biodiversity. The Zoological Park is also a space that strives to better understand the interactions between human beings, flora and fauna. The landscaped setting is one of its major assets, with 870 different plant species making up an exceptional collection. Opposite the Park's Grand Rocher stands a majestic 4,000-square-meter tropical greenhouse, one of the highlights of the overall itinerary, home to animals from the Amazon and Madagascar biozones, to be observed in all weathers. The Zoological Park offers events throughout the year to help you get to know the animals better or discover them from a different angle, experiencing unique moments.
