THE UPSTREAM BRIDGE
The construction of this road bridge required two years of work. Designed by architects Depaquit, Rousselin, Dambre and Herzog, it was inaugurated in 1969. Located in the extreme southeast of the capital, it connects Bercy wharf, located in the 12 th district, and the pier of Ivry in the 13 th. This book derives its name from practice, indeed no official name has been devoted to it. The origin of the "upstream bridge" is the location of the building, this is the first bridge of the city to cross the Seine when we follow the river course.
