RENÉ DUMONT GREEN FLOW
Promenade Plantée, an unusual itinerary between Bastille and Bois de Vincennes.
This 4.5 km-long green corridor stretches across the 12th arrondissement, from Avenue Daumesnil to the edge of Saint-Mandé, not far from the Bois de Vincennes. It's a highly original walkway, sometimes overhanging the roadway, sometimes underneath it. Created in 1988, it follows the old railway line that ran from Place de la Bastille to La Varenne-Saint-Maur from 1859 to 1969. It's a surprisingly green path! You'll pass through a wealth of green spaces and places that preserve nature, even though the rather "bourgeois" neighbourhood doesn't particularly lend itself to this.

Une sorte d'oasis en forme de promenade au calme, en hauteur, semblant se jouer des embarras de Paris.
A voir et profiter.
