THE PASSAGE OF THE CONSTRUCTION SITE
The Faubourg Saint-Antoine was still a hundred years old where carpenters and cabinetmakers worked. It was everything: from style furniture to most precious marquetry. Intense activity was one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Paris. Today, gentrification, trendy bars and bars are increasing, but the atmosphere remains the same. A remnant of that time is probably this passage. You would find it almost exclusively in furniture shops. If craftsmen no longer work in the back shop, there are still conservators who will be able to revive your old armchairs. As at the beginning of the th century, you can find everything at all prices, so you have to have the eye to not find the buttocks between two chairs!
