REPAIR CAFÉ
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The principle: meetings organized about once a month in collective or private places in Paris, open to all with tools and equipment made available to make every possible repair imaginable. Volunteer repair skills are sought to frame and accompany budding repairers (electricians, seamstresses, carpenters, bicycle repairers, etc.). For the convenience of the moment, a cool space, home food and hot drinks are available, to the extent of the means of this young volunteer association and what everyone prepares and brings. All this is possible thanks to this small association, born in spring 2013 of a handful of electrons, free authorities and solidarity, some of which are diy and others… co-organisers. Visitors who make their objects repair are invited to join the association to help grow and grow. Recycling and usability. The aim is to develop recycling communities in each arrondissement. And it works! More than 60% of the objects returned in progress…
