The aim of this institute is to develop and transmit psychosomatic theoretical knowledge and therapeutic practices, based on the psychoanalytical method and theoretical corpus of Pierre Marty and the École Psychosomatique de Paris. IPSO offers two levels of teaching: psychosomatic training for psychoanalysts and psychoanalysts in training, and awareness-raising for all health professionals. The institute collaborates with two care centers, the Centre de Psychosomatique pour adultes Pierre Marty and the Centre de Psychosomatique pour bébés, enfants et adolescents Léon Kreisler. These centers welcome patients with somatic disorders and offer therapeutic consultations.
