This church owes the architect Prosper Bobin. It was built between 1894 and 1912 in a Romano-Byzantine style. One of its peculiarities is that it is on ancrés stilts under the Bièvre remblaiement. Funded by a couple of chocolate makers named Lambert, its facade - known as the "chocolate facade" - presents two 55-metre high towers called Jules and Honorine in tribute to these donors.

Avis de 2019 toujours valable bien qu'à l'heure actuelle début 2024 il y ait des travaux conséquent et l'endroit n'est plus accessible durant cette phase de réfection ????????????????.
