A well located in the charming Place Paul-Verlaine, which supplies the Butte-aux-Cailles district.
The willingness to produce healthy and cheap water gave rise to the construction of artesian wells in Paris during the th and th centuries. Drilling up to 600 metres has made it possible to bring the precious liquid to the surface. Designed to fuel the district of La Butte-aux-Aux, the well located on the charming Piazza Paul-Verlaine dates back to 1904. A public fountain allows you to enjoy its water.
