In the heart of the BNF, the Tschann 13 bookshop offers books related to current exhibitions and much more.
Inaugurated in 1995, the BNF is one of the largest libraries in the world. Surrounding a central garden, four L-shaped buildings evoke the shape of open books. They house almost eleven million books, many of which are accessible to the general public, as is the Tschann 13 bookshop, which offers catalogs of current exhibitions as well as reference works on the arts and literature. Meetings are also organized here.
