CHOISY PARK
A park with a central lawn, donated by Finland to France for the 1937 Universal Exhibition.
Rectangular in shape, with a central lawn, this park is the lungs of a densely populated district of the 13th arrondissement. Its distinguishing feature is a red porphyry table - located near the Avenue de Choisy entrance. It was donated by Finland to France for the 1937 Universal Exhibition. Also of note is the George Eastman Foundation, in a red-brick building also dating from 1937. Sports facilities and an attractive puppet theatre complete a complex frequented mainly by locals.
