Close to Butte-aux-Cailles, in the clear and bright beautiful corner shop, everything is well arranged and neatly presented. Laurent Duchêne, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, is a pastry chef who does not rest on his laurels: he travels to continue learning and shares his know-how. In addition to being a very good baker, often noticed, he is also an excellent chocolatier: his chocolates have been rewarded several times by the Club of Chocolate Croqueurs by receiving the maximum score. Seasonal pies go with the traditional orange pies, chocolate, and delicious small orange cakes, or almond molten cake and other éclairs. The entremets are very tasty, like his Mikado: lime cream, wild strawberries coulis and lemon madeleine biscuit, not forgetting his small macaroons, savoy or sweet petit fours for parties. His beautiful Galettes des Rois with an apple-blackcurrant are really original and delicious.
